Who operates this site

Mytheertha is a brand operated by Kigen Technologies. When you purchase Services you are contracting with Kigen Technologies. References on the Site to cities or regions describe service availability and do not mean Mytheertha is a separate legal entity formed in that location.

1. Eligibility and permitted use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Site or purchase Services. You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to violate applicable laws, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, attempt unauthorised access to systems connected to the Site, introduce malware or interfere with the Site, or misrepresent your identity, lineage, or gotra when requesting a ritual performed in your name.

2. Inquiries, estimates, and bookings

Any timelines, pricing ranges, or estimates shown on the Site or provided during initial correspondence are informational only and are not binding unless included in a confirmed Service Agreement. We do not begin ritual arrangement, pilgrimage booking, or premium advisory work until the parties have agreed in writing on scope, fees, deliverables, timeline, and any required deposits.

3. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that all information, instructions, and approvals you provide are accurate and lawful. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary authority to commission rituals on behalf of other individuals where applicable, and that gotra details, nakshatra information, and names of individuals in whose name rituals are performed are provided with the consent of those individuals.

4. Fees, deposits, and payments

Fees are set out in the Service Agreement or at the point of purchase. Deposits are non-refundable once ritual arrangements, temple bookings, or resources are confirmed. Late payments may pause work and delivery. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or similar governmental charges other than taxes on Kigen Technologies's income.

5. Ritual services and Sevaka

Sevaka arranges rituals at South Indian temples on behalf of diaspora families. While we coordinate with qualified temple priests in good faith, we cannot guarantee specific dates or priests where temple schedules are outside our control. Prasad shipping is subject to customs and carrier conditions. We are not responsible for delays imposed by customs authorities. Where video recording at a specific temple is not permitted, we will inform you and discuss alternatives.

6. Acharya advisory service

Acharya is an AI-powered advisory service for questions about Hindu temples, deities, rituals, festivals, and family practice. Acharya's responses are informational and educational in nature. They do not constitute religious authority, legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice. Consult qualified priests, advisers, or scholars for matters requiring formal religious certification or official guidance.

7. Cancellations and force majeure

Because ritual arrangements require coordination with temple administrations, priests, and logistics partners, cancellations and date changes may result in fees and pass-through costs as set out in the Service Agreement. You are responsible for non-recoverable third-party costs incurred on your behalf. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including temple closures, natural events, governmental actions, or carrier disruptions.

8. Intellectual property

The Site and its content (excluding your materials) are owned by Kigen Technologies or its licensors. You retain ownership of the materials and personal information you provide. You grant Kigen Technologies a limited licence to use such materials solely to perform and deliver the Services. Upon full payment, we grant you a licence to use final deliverables (including ritual videos and pilgrimage itineraries) for your personal and family purposes.

9. Third-party services

The Site may link to or embed third-party services. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. Kigen Technologies is not responsible for third-party services.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific religious outcomes, priest availability at any specific temple, or transit times for prasad shipments.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kigen Technologies and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Site or Services. Our total liability for all claims will not exceed the fees paid by you for the Services in the preceding 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kigen Technologies, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from information or instructions you provide, your misuse of the Site or Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Malta.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post updates on the Site and, if changes are material, may provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
