A ritual at the temple, in your name

The ritual is performed in your gotra and nakshatra. You receive video of the ritual, the prasad shipped to your home, and the priest's archana spoken in your name.

Available rituals

Archana

Offering with the devotee's name and nakshatra, spoken before the deity by the presiding priest.

Abhishekam

Ritual bathing of the deity with milk, honey, sandalwood, and other substances proper to the temple and its tradition.

Homa

Fire ritual in several forms: Ganapathi Homa, Sudarshana Homa, Mrityunjaya Homa, Chandi Homa. The form is chosen according to the occasion and the deity.

Sahasranama archana

Recitation of the thousand names of the deity during archana — a more sustained and complete form of the offering.

Kalyanotsavam

Sponsorship of the daily wedding at Tirumala and similar temples. One of the more intimate forms of offering at the great Vaishnava shrines.

Pinda daan

Ancestral rites at Rameshwaram, Gaya, and other tirthas where this is the proper and scripturally sanctioned place for these rites to be performed.

Annadanam sponsorship

The offering of food to pilgrims at temples that maintain a daily annadanam. A meritorious act directed at the community of the faithful, not only one's own family.

How it works

    Provide the names, gotra, and nakshatra of those in whose name the ritual will be performed.

    Pay at booking.

    Sevaka coordinates with the temple priest and confirms the slot.

    On the day, the priest performs the ritual. Video is captured. The archana is spoken in your name.

    Within ten days, you receive the video and the prasad at your address.

Fees

Fifty to five hundred dollars per ritual
